While this is a season that the Oilers would probably love to forget, fans can at least look forward to their new arena. The Rexall Place has not treated the Oilers very well in the last few seasons. Though some fans will miss its historic values, its not likely that they will miss the poor lighting, poor ice conditions, or the poor performances that have taken place there. The new arena will be a great opportunity for everyone to get excited again and hopefully that excitement will help power the team back to its former glory.
