DC Arena Renamed

There is a name change in our nation's capital, home of the Capitals, Capital One is the subject of the change. Seeing a trend? Well the Washington Capitals arena has been renamed Capital One Arena. This is not the first name change this arena has gone through though. It's original name was MCI Center before changing to Verizon Center. Both previous names led fans to refer to the arena as "The Phonebooth," but that will now come to an end. However this new name may lead people to call it the "Cap Centre" or "Capital Centre," a nod to the Capitals original home, "Capital Centre."
