TD Garden Planning Upgrades
The home of the Bruins has added its name to a number of 1990's built arenas which will soon undergo a multiphase overhaul of the entire building. The 23 year old, 19,580 seat arena is built on top of Boston's North (train) Station and last saw renovations in 2006 which replaced the original scoreboard with the current "Garden HDX", 2009 which redesigned the concourses, and 2014-2015 when several premium areas were overhauled.

The Garden is now planning its next round of upgrades which will include a new center-hung scoreboard, new seats, more open areas to the concourses, and a new 10,000 square foot entrance. The renovations are expected to take place over the Summers of 2018 and 2019.

More details will be released when plans or formally presented in the next month or so.
