The Hurricanes are on an impressive playoff run this season. No matter how things end this year, they can be proud of their unexpected comeback. They can also be proud of the new scoreboard that will be installed this summer.
The new board looks to be heavily influenced by the State Farm Arena scoreboard in Atlanta. This one just might not be as tall.
The largest screen will be 47 feet wide, landing it around 4th place in the league just ahead of Tampa Bay, and just behind Detroit. It will be created by Daktronics. Stay tuned for more information and updates.
